Who We Are

Marianne F. Sullivan Our firm's president and lead auctioneer brings nearly 20 years of widespread experience in the real estate auction arena. Her extensive range of experience includes all aspects of management, administration and marketing of real estate auctions for: banks and mortgage companies financial institutions and credit unions condominium associations attorneys city/town government and state agencies corporations investors individuals

To stay abreast of new industry measures and technical industry procedures, our company’s members participate in local and national affiliations. Marianne has been a member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), Massachusetts State Auctioneers Association (MSAA), and International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). 

Marianne served on MSAA's Board of Directors and was elected the first vice president of MSAA in 2004 and 2005.  She has also taught real estate classes for Yankee School of Auctioneering and has conducted seminars for those interested in buying real estate at auction.  

She is known in the community for the time she regularly donates to conduct charity and fundraising auctions for numerous non-profit organizations, schools and church groups. She has primarily worked with the Franciscan Hospital for Children for over five years in their mission to raise awareness of the hospital and generate revenue for their mission to care for children. Each year, Marianne and others co-chair the celebrated and much-anticipated "Annual Friends Ball."

Frederick J. Sullivan

Enriching our company with over 40 years of knowledge and experience in business management and administration, Frederick Sullivan serves as S&SA’s chief financial officer. Our clients benefit from Mr. Sullivan’s expertise, carried forth by the same straightforward principles and beliefs responsible for his success in prior ventures.

Judy Johnson

Judy Johnson, Operations Manager, has vast experience in business operations and in the real estate industry. This translates into dedicated top-notch customer service and overall client satisfaction from point of first contact with our firm. Our clients and prospective bidders can rely on the ease and availability of our full-service, on-site staff, conveniently accessible to answer all your questions from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.  After hours, and on weekends and holidays, we provide an automated telephone service which allows our clients and prospective bidders the opportunity to access the latest information for the next business day's auctions.

S&SA's licensed, bonded, and experienced auctioneers have a minimum of at least 10 years of experience in the field. We conduct auctions in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire with areas of expertise including: foreclosure auctions, commissioner's auctions, condominium lien auctions, court-appointed auctions, bankruptcy auctions, and owner’s auctions.
